@shawluvsbirds --this is the 3rd Sunday of the month, I am going into Lamar to see if they actually have a swap this afternoon. I won't bring any chickens since I don't know for sure, but I'll know for next month.
I am wanting to cut back on chickens. An Amish couple who stopped by has asked to buy my Spitzhaubens, I will see if they return for them, I just have a pair now. I'd have to catch them while they are roosting I said, otherwise they would have taken them that day. But that pair is wary and wouldn't come when called like all the other chickens did.

Rained all night here but not very heavy only got 1/2" of rain. I need it to dry out so I can cut 3 dead oak trees but the ground needs to be a bit solid there so I can use the backhoe as and extra hand.

I slept in like a bum. I need to go out and see how many babies I have now

I went to the Lamar Swap. There were about a dozen sellers there, lots of birds. One man was selling Pyrenees pups for $20 each.
several of the sellers had bought one. Very cute! I restrained myself from buying his last girl, this was the littlest.

Moving the automagic coop control and door to the new coop today and stopped to give some grass, chick weed and clover to the hens and Pig Pen gave me the look "You gonna give me some treats or what?"

The weather man says we have a 100% chance of over 2" of rain here today. They never repaired our road from the previous big deluges.
