5 pm, pouring here, a tornado warning just expired. The sirens went off, news said tornado spotted on the ground south of Pittsburg, KS. The system was moving our way. I think we're in the clear from round one.

Hope you all are safe.... not looking forward to the hail and wind and flying monkeys and whatever else... It’s still clear here for a little longer but the radar shows it getting close...

....I spent the afternoon brush hogging some grown up field... since I had some spare time and it was dry for half a minute...and I saw the first fawn of the year!

We got 5" of rain yesterday. They say we'll get an additional 2-4" today, with more severe threats after 10 am. At least we had no damage as far as I can tell....Local news showed damage in several communities.

Looks like we are/were right on the edge of the storms. We got a little over an inch of rain last night.

My Arkansas Travelers are starting to put on some tomatoes, I found 4 tiny ones yesterday.

Our back yard looked like a lake last night. Water all the way up to the deck. Had to go out in the pouring rain to let the Cayuga ducks out of their houses .. They were under water.
And bring two smelly dogs inside.

I'm sick of this!
