Yep, I’d say it’s one of those ...

I was thinking ‘Rose Pink’ (sabatia angularia)... going from memory on the leaves.... but I didn’t take a good picture of them...

....but I’ve decided it’s too hot to walk back over there and take another look...

What wildflower app are you using? It looks like maybe it used the picture itself to suggest possibilities... that’d be kinda fun...

I use this app/website ... it works well by letting you filter by location, bloom time, color, etc.... the location and bloom time seems to be a big help in narrowing down the possibilities....

Lol, are you suggesting only 500 of living space?...

....that actually doesn’t sound bad sometimes, particularly on a day like today when the AC is chugging nonstop!

Feels like 113 and still climbing ...

Edit... up to feels like 115 here now ( at 3pm)

I get a kick out of the “feels like” stuff.... at some point it’s just HOT!!! I think we’re at that point!

I was in Phoenix, AZ once when it was 120 ... they had to ground the airplanes for a bit because the air gets so thin they can’t get lift... I guess we can be thankful that our humidity doesn’t allow for that!
