A post on FB says we are supposed to get extreme temps next week starting on Wednesday and going through the next weekend. My weather app on my phone isn't really showing that but it also doesn't show predicted heat indexes. Has anybody else heard anything like that?

We are also having rain today, but I did also see this morning one of the news stations talking about a heat wave coming. But we all know how the weather can change.

We had a high of 79º here! And intermittent light showers from Barry.....it was rather pleasant....

We managed to ride home from Osage Beach without getting more than a few rain drops, just missed a good down pour by Winona and one close to the house. We did wear our rain suits from Mansfield back to the house just in case. Chickens are happy to see me, but more happy to get some tomatoes to munch on.

This strange little weed became a wildflower when I figured out it’s called ‘arrowhead rattlebox’

I ain't got nuthin to share. Things are burning up here already.
I usually put out more annuals than I did this year. . I just didn't feel like it this time.
I don't think I shared this here but we actually just bought some property outside of town recently and we plan on selling our place here and moving eventually.
It will be a while. . we did not buy a house.
We bought a school house. we might be insane.

Today was my day to watch the 5 year old Grandson and to drive my son around to his appointments. Just got home at 7 PM. Haven't been out to the garden or to the chickens ( other than to let them out this morning).
We had off and on showers all day!
I think tomorrow is supposed to start our extreme temperatures.
@shawluvsbirds is this a one room school house or a more modern school house?
