A bird has built a nest in the chicken run on top of a 4x4 post, it's small enough to fit between the 1" x 2" welded wire. When I walk in it swoops down to the ground and runs across the chicken yard, under the gate and then under the garden shed (I'm assuming the last bit as it's pretty fast). The nest is a bit different as it is like an igloo with a side entrance. It's made from grass and stuff but no mud. The entrance is on the left.

I’m pretty sure I know who’s nest that is, but I’ll let some others guess first.

Googling that and the nest is correct, I'll put a camera on it and see if I can see what it is.

Well I got a brief look at it this morning, usually it's 2F2R but I saw the reddish brown of it's back as it hopped across the chicken yard... seemed to not be in as much of a hurry as usual maybe it's getting used to me dunno.

Going to setup a nest cam today, just checked and it is working just need to make a longer Cat6 cable for it and mount it to the rafter.

Had to check and see if mine were popping up yet. .
Nope. Not yet.
Aptly named they are. . they come up almost over night. Always a surprise because I forget about them until they show up.
And they smell soooo good
