calling any one from missouri

I finally got last winters poop composted, it was wet and gummy and yucky. I kept adding sawdust and turning it. I think it's ready to bag up for future use and free up the bins.

I gotta say the thought of eating an earthworm is much stronger than worrying about the old fart with the pitchfork going under your feet and lifting you up to turn the compost. I have to turn it before I let them out for the day or I have this lol. There are 4 hens in that bin and 2 in the other one, as soon as I move to the other bin they all jump into it...

Your compost looks great!

Something has been tearing up the siding on the garage! It's up near the roof behind the curve in the downspout of the gutters. I'm guessing raccoon. My husband said mouse or rat. But I don't think a mouse or rat could tear the siding!!
Squirrels? I have recently heard complaints about squirrels tearing up roofing, wiring etc.

Does it look chewed like a rat or squirrel might do or just ripped off? Being able to sit on the downspout and do their deed helps them. I'd put out a live trap and see what you get.

Did anyone else have a storm go thru last night? Got a lot of wind, 1/2" rain, and an old red bud tree in the yard was blown down. It was pretty rotted so we aren't surprised. There is a red oak that we allowed to grow up beside it, and it's now in charge of that part of the yard.

This morning I made a small reusable shopping bag from a 30 lb scratch feed bag. This time I used the white strips from top and bottom for the handles.
