calling any one from missouri

Today I didn't let the chickens out to free range, but they didn't care. They barely emerged from their coop. They remember the hawk/falcon and they are afraid. Their run is very large, more than adequate, and there really isn't need to let them out so I'm glad they didn't ask.
Here's the pic of the Merlin falcon from the link JT posted above. It's small, but what I saw was small. That link is excellent, btw, all the raptors of Missouri.

I've noticed since all my hens have stopped laying that they don't have the roost time rumble and usually are in the same spot on the roost. Usually 4 on the east roost and 3 on the west roost and sometimes one on the south roost. Have any of you noticed anything like this in your hens when they all stop laying?

Actually yes, there has been a change like that here too. Roost preferences have been totally rearranged...
