It is said that they learn their names, (so yours may have learned how to count too)...and it's also said that they have names for us too.

It has really been a wild ride. 10F at the beginning of November and then a warm up. 7 inches of snow last week and almost all of it is gone but still wet out there. 60+ for a couple days and fairly mild but a weekend of rain coming. I'm not telling most of you anything you don't already know.

It is warm enough to take long walks. Here's an interesting tree, a type of Locust...(black locust or honey locust maybe?) with a coat of formidable thorns.
And there are lovely blue berries on the red cedar trees.
