calling any one from missouri

I checked my chickweed plants that grow under the juniper tree and there is a few but not like last fall.

@Madi131 that's a huge chicken egg did you weigh it?

Kinda quiet here except for grocery stores, I went to town to pick up the prescriptions for us and stopped by the feed store to stock up and they didn't have any whole corn so I will have to go back one more time.

I did finally finish except for painting the adapters to hang some old forklift forks on the bucket of my Kubota. It was quite interesting to figure out and did quite a bit of head scratching and ciphering as well as a bit of last minute adjustments to the vertical channel. I think if I paint the Kubota orange they might look like factory...

Joplin announced first case of the virus. (Jasper county)
Crawford county KS, which borders our county (Barton) has announced 2 cases.
Meanwhile, lots of rain here. 50º this morning, thunderstorms.

Jefferson County started a shelter at home today at 12:01 AM. I saw a news post about some lady claiming to be the first positive case in our county ( and how her son who had been sick but was feeling better went to Middle school for the last day before they closed, thus possibly contaminating many other people).
It is raining here too and 43 ( but feels like 39). I had planned to plant the rest of the strawberry roots and to move the 2 cherry bushes to a better location, but it is too cold and wet for me to want to be outside doing that!
I did manage to get around to butchering one of our extra roosters though.

Does anyone near Perryville, Cape, STL, etc have polish chickens? I'm waiting to buy some hatching eggs or chicks but I really don't want to have to order them. Just asking around because I can't find anyone who does.

By the way, that huge 104g egg had a double yolk in it!
Sorry, I don't have any Polish or know anyone that does. Hopefully, someone else on her will have some.

Im starting to think no one does around here! I'm trying to start breeding frizzle polish, my rooster is beautiful, but I only have two normal polish hens. So far I've been able to sell 4 of the chicks for $30, so that's good. Now if I can just get some more girls!

if you ordered from Cackle, they'd probably get there the next day.....

It takes a couple of days to arrive from Cackle and you sweat both of them out waiting and waiting but they arrive in good health and the Post Office people take real good care of them. When I got my RIR's I got the notice they were at the Post Office and I said "got any chicks for me" and both of them said yes they are right here.
