I wonder if it has to do with the cloudy days?... I really have no idea... but while I was talking to bees, I noticed some of the Dutch white clover was pinky too

It’s finally going to be a gorgeous day here today. The bees can’t wait to get started!

Do gooseberries grow wild in Missouri? I think I have see those thorns and leaves on some plants in our woods. I don’t know if they ever got to the berry stage.
maybe I’ll quit pulling them up!!

goosberries do indeed grow wild all over Missouri... I have a big bush I mow around by the chicken coop though... so I consider it domesticated

I say “pee-own-ee”... I suspect though that SueT says “PEE-un-nee”... if I recall correctly I think she originates from the NE and folks I know from that region say it that way...

either is acceptable in my book... calling them roses is not

Pee-uh-nee here. But we don't have any. I may have to plant some....it's such a struggle to grow veggies, I didn't ever expand into flowering plants...
