I saw this black vulture near Springfield today, it was trying to make a ‘diller basket...

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in Missouri before... maybe the common turkey vultures that we see are having guest for dinner

I also spotted some wild columbine at the river today

My brother-in-law has been reporting seeing some black vultures as well.
I hope they aren't going to become a permanent fixture here. They can kill calves I hear.
