We went upstairs, we got the amber alert too. And yes, thunderstorm.

Keeping shoes on incase it comes on again, although I am not sure which direction it went in.

I finally figured out that sprouting seeds like it warm and the light up close.
My tomatoes are finally looking good.

We’re sprouting a few tomatoes, herbs, and kale in a southern window....

This is my sprouting area, last few years didn't have much luck as the basement is cold.


An old army blanket, a piece of OSB for the floor and a couple of old towels to cover the ends, a heating pad under the sprouts...


I must admit the geek in me made me use a $37 Auber Instruments controller to keep the temperature pretty constant. I just couldn't help it lol.

We got about .6” of rain so far this morning. Nothing severe here to report, but I did spot a couple of wee Leprechauns while looking for a 4 leaf clover....

We had snow too! I got up to change the baby around 4am and when I glanced out the window it stopped me in my tracks

The snow is melting fast on the warm ground....

Did any of you get severe weather? There were tornado warnings in SW MO last night and I see reports of 2 touching down....

Also there were reports of tennis ball sized hail on local news yesterday evening....this was SW MO as well.
