I use Starbar fly traps and they are quite effective... which reminds me it's time to clean them out for next year. I hang them anywhere flies might gather for a safety meeting or discuss the nearest pile of poop.

I have mixed emotions about bug traps. I want to repel bugs not put something up that attracts more.

I have pretty good luck with plain old sticky fly tape.

I don't think it attracts more flies into the area but it sure attracts the ones that are close to the trap into the trap which is like a never ending game of DOOM.
