Can we plant a seedling in the stump, anybody know?

Ask the tree guy..

I would think that might make the roots of the new tree too wet and suseptable to rot as the stump would eventually start to decay.
But idk for sure.

Google says don’t do it, plant it next to the stump. But I have not done either. Let us know what you do....

Hi there! Welcome, from rural SE MO! I have a bunch of older ladies (11, I think), EEs* and BAs,** two and 3 yo's, all currently on molt break but starting to look pretty good after having gone through the hardest molt of their lives, poor things! - plus a dozen 12-week old pullets (EEs and Dominiques), and half a dozen Dominique cockerels. There's also a large barnyard mix rooster, currently in the bachelor pen with the cockerels, impatiently waiting for the pullets to grow up a little so he can assume his role as flock guardian. They are amusing little characters, aren't they?
