The battery pack I'm getting has a key so you turn the key to on and it's ready to go. It has a throttle like a motorcycle so you just twist it to go, if you pedal as well your range is increased. The beauty of it is when you get to a hill you don't have to get down to granny gear to get up the hill and you don't slow down and loose the breeze. The range without pedaling is 20+ miles with a 20Ah battery. The cassette free wheels if your not pedaling.

Fedex says I'll have my parts Wednesday...

Thanks, my buddy has been riding his cobbled up E-Bike for a few years now. I should be able to start the conversion Wednesday.

I rode his bike and it's really cool to sail up a hill without pedaling.

Got the battery rack installed today. The battery slides in on the aluminum part and locks to the bike. I need to find another place for my boxes of recycle materials lol.


My saddle bags don't fit well so I had to order one with a wider center section.

I also got the kick stand installed... you can't be cool and ride up to Menards and lay your bike down.

Got the E-Bike assembled yesterday and went for a short ride... I got up to 40 Km/h on the gravel road...




I did finally take the time to switch to miles this morning.

Yucca plants line the road all along the edge of the meadow out front. We enjoy their showy blooms every year and I assumed they were native, but Google says, no. They must have escaped from someone’s cultivated plants at some point.

I tend to call them all wolf spiders… but the stripy legged ones are actually something a bit different…

I couldn’t remember so I looked it up: fishing spider, that’s be my guess in yours

I think that's a wolf spider and you can ffing keep it I have plenty of my own.
