I checked the tomato plants this morning and could not find one glowing worm! I wish I was glowing... I slept most of yesterday and last night. I hope the end is near, it's not fun trying to take care of chickens when you're sick. What used to take me less than and hour takes a half a day now. I've lost 6 pounds but I don't recommend it as a weight loss plan. Gotta start eating more only have 9 pounds to spare.

What's wrong JT?
This heat makes it hard to get choring done regardless.

@shawluvsbirds He used a bacterial product I recommended for hornworms and it seems he got sick from it. I’ve used it for years and never had any problems with it, I am so sorry if this could have caused his illness. It’s a popular product, the active ingredient is BT (bacillus thuringiensis). They claim it doesn’t affect humans or any vertebrates. I think I will not be recommending anything anymore, I really don’t at all know how things will work for others. 🙁

Actually I walked into a cloud of bacillus thuringiensis while spraying the raised beds. It's safe for humans just don't breath it! I'll keep using it. What happened I looked down as I rounded the corner of the raised beds to not trip over the bottom rail of the carport. Had I not looked down I would have seen the cloud and not walked through it.

@SueT It works just remind folks not to get any on them when spraying or in my case breath the little bacteria. It not your fault Sue just bad luck on my part.

I am feeling better today, so it's a lesson learned... look before you leap.

This is what I was stepping over...

Thank you for letting me know. When I was a boy I really enjoyed the Mcdonald County fair but it's really gone downhill.

Daddy used to say when I was hurting "boy if it don't kill you it will make you stronger". Well there's an addendum to that saying "if it don't kill you, you won't do it again"

I'm so glad to be almost back to my normal 50% and for sure I won't do that again.

I spent 5 hours out in the machine shop yesterday mostly doing CAD work. I dd manage to machine a couple of parts for the Whirlpool assembly machine.
