I checked the tomato plants this morning and not one worm could be found.... that is so much better than picking them off everyday.

You're a lucky girl!I never heard of blossom end rot....knock on wood.....
https://www.lsuagcenter.com/articles/page1526388702034There are several factors that can cause blossom-end rot, but they all are the result of poor absorption of calcium. It could be that you have low levels of calcium in the soil and the plant cannot meet its calcium needs.
Another possibility is that you have a low soil pH and calcium is tied up and not available for the plant.
The third possibility is either too much water or not enough water and a constant drying out and wetting of the soil. Tomatoes need a consistent supply of water so they can uptake nutrients correctly.
The nutrients may be available but something could be off making it difficult for the plants to access the nutrients. PH levels could be off, soil could have started compacting, might need probiotics etchttps://www.lsuagcenter.com/articles/page1526388702034
I'm going to add some quick lime to the pots that have blossom end rot and see if that helps those plants absorb more calcium.
