My bantams are 8 months old. The silkies just discovered nest boxes exist about a week ago. Beaker has decided she needs to go broody. My two Japanese Bantam pullets just got done being broody. I might try to let them set in the spring.

I took a photo the top parts hold the lid down so the trash dog can't get into the trash cans... they hinge up to the left and right and the blocks of wood hold them upright. I should have taken a photo of across the road

Mine does not hold the lids shut but it does keep them in place.

I named him Sam Wheat after Patrick Swayzes charachter on the movie Ghost. Lol.

The mouse population seems to be never ending. I throw him what i catch in the traps on top of what he hunts. I'll take all the help i can get. These damn mice are drivin me nuts out there.
I gave him a hut to take shelter in and been giving him a little kibble here and there to keep him from wandering off too far hunting. So far
He's only let me pet his head once.
