I have a young rooster or cockerel looking for a new home. He is 21 weeks old (hatched Aug. 22nd) and the youngest 'roo of our flock. Hand-raised in a brooder ...........

Update: He found a home tonight, and was lucky to bring along three of his fellow hatchling pullets - to a couple who lost nearly all their flock this year to neighborhood dogs and one persistent raccoon. I'm happy I don't have to slaughter a good rooster, in spite of losing three layers with him.

It's sprinkled here off and on but nothing crazy, everyone here is already hunkered down for the night

We have a solid dusting of snow so far, maybe 1/4", and still coming down. So pretty. It's a soft, fluffy, gently falling snow with no winds.

I’m in the 4” to 7” snow prediction area. But my weather app says less than 1”. So it’s a toss up as to how much snow we end up with. Stay safe & warm
