calling any one from missouri

The egg prices are higher elsewhere from what I’ve heard. @jthornton ‘s local prices probably still are $5 or more.
When we have extra I will give some free to our neighbors who are always happy to help us in a pinch.
But if I were selling them I’d be darned if I’d ask less than Walmart!

It's been raining all day here and probably started during the night last night. DH could not get home the normal way as there are two low-water bridges between the highway and our house and they were flooded, impassable. He had to leave his car at a relative's house and hike home half a mile in the driving rain (44°F), crossing two smaller creeks on the way on foot.

Oh, Missouri!

I had cleaned out the wood stove and had a nice fire going for him when he got here, along with a nice hot dinner of salmon pattties, vegetarian baked beans, mac n cheese, and steamed zucchini, tomatoes and onions.

Emergency crew just had to do a high water rescue down the road from me, some truck got swept right off the road trying to go over a flooded area on the highway
Oh my! Everybody please be careful! Turn around, don't drown!
