Sammy looks like a sweetheart.

Thank you, I will tell him you said so. He would be, or could be, if he'd been raised right. He's about semi-feral, won't come when called, chases vehicles and barks at everything and sometimes nothing. He has just enough good characteristics to justify letting him live, however, one of which is he's an absolute hoot and makes me laugh. He's the smartest dog I've ever had and a tattle-tale on the other animals if they do something they shouldn't. I'm nearly deaf and he lets me know when the oven or microwave beep. He's good with the chickens and doesn't bite strangers, he just yells at them. He's an embarrassment to me as a former dog trainer, but I find him amusing.

We just got back from Le Claire IA from the annual Vettes on the River benefit for local veterans. There was 275 Corvettes there and they raised $17k for the veterans from the admission fees and other supporters. Well it's back to cleaning chicken poop for me

We are finially in the country! Us, three dogs and all 35 ducks lol.

Here's our new house we built ourselves.
By "we" i mean mostly the man.

We're still working on it but we have everything we need.

oops. I was on zip tie duty but i got distracted.

Stress is still on, we have a lot inside to finish, we are so tired of working every single day

But it's a lot better than being in limbo.
At least now it's only us pressuring ourselves to finish something.. not anyone else.
