People are incredibly nosy!

I don't give a flying fart what anyone thinks either.
But people *thinking* can lead to drama as described above.

Very nosy...., They were all Bantams to!

I tend to care about what people think about me, I'm always worrying if I did something or said something wrong lol

Where i live cops won't come to your house for roosters being on a cord lol I can drive 10 minutes in any direction and there are old timers with chicken yards of 50+ roosters tethered and hens running all around. You have to have proof of a crime here or nothing at all comes of anything. My house was broken into and I lost everything and they didn't even investigate it, just came up and said srry.

Lol I have one not so ideal neighbor. The day I met her she came up yelling and going nuts waving a broom around, she accused my pigs of getting into her stuff. My wife escorted her off the property.. they weren't even our pigs.

We have the not so nice neighbor and then the lovely neighbor, My Turkeys go to the neighbor up the rode all the time and get snacks from them lol

Next neighbors are miles away. Just this random little angry lady alone in her little house in the holler.

My neighbors kids always come down to see my Birds and hold them, I just don't let them around my tiecord yard because I got a few manfighters, But other than that my neighbors are pretty cool, I think they are wanting to raise a Cow with me this Summer

Tho mostly we keep to ourselves, we do have good neighbors. Only one house can we see from ours, we do things for her like pet care, she gives us homemade salsa and produce, also Filipino food, and cake…. The neighbors we share a fence with on the south live out of our sight, but we text each other relevant news, (like one of your cows is out on the road), (the bridge is closed) (is your power out), we exchange birthday/Christmas cards and presents etc, trade eggs and produce. On the north and west, also out of sight are Amish families. If you give them a ride when they are in a pinch, they will later send their daughter down the road barefoot with a cherry pie. (We don’t want to be an Amish taxi tho —they hire people to do that regularly.) We enjoy seeing the buggies and carts go by every day.

I only know the lady that lives to the north of us and we text each other like Sue if we see something out of the ordinary. I sorta know the folks at the end of the road and wave to them when they go by and they are very considerate if they see me coming down the road in my C8 and will stop so as to not create a huge dust storm... some others are not as considerate and that's why I drive down the center of the road until I reach the paved road. Kinda pissed off one guy going 5 MPH down the center of the road but oh well...

There are other neighbors not next door that we know in our area further up and down the road—my husband grew up in this house.
