The chick is 2 weeks old today. It has weathered heat and storms. It has learned to fly and can get up to the outdoor perches with ease. It is growing its little crest. I named it Tuffy.

Yesterday we stopped by Baptist hill in Mt. Vernon where i went to church camp as a young girl. It has changed quite a bit, but being there still felt the same as it did in the 90s

The spring where we'd go to cool off

Stairs that lead down the bluff to the spring..
These are new. We had to walk farther ro get there back when.
However these stairs were a workout too

Cabin i stayed in.
Windows, AC nicer beds and shower walls are new. We had big shutters you had to go outside and prop up.
Mostly the same though.
