Rain starting tonight through Sunday except for Friday during the day. Which is amazing as I have a trip scheduled to Farmington on Friday.

I'm already daydreaming about my garden. I'll be starting seeds in a few weeks.

I've always been either a gardener, farmer or rancher or all three at once. I also like to grow lots of flowers, both annuals and perennials.
However, for perennial flowers, I always seem to start them too late for them to bloom the first year.

They just mentioned on the local news, that the landfill in our county (Barton) will be taking the loads of dead poultry that died from bird flu! Also it was mentioned that cattle have died of this. We are 4 miles from this landfill!

Hey anyone here need a young rooster? We got chicks back in October and one turned out to be male so we can't keep it.

Actually I am thinking about replacing my rooster... but you are about 5 hours from me. Just for grins, though, how old, what breed, and what's his temperament like?
