Calling any Sultan Breeders: A few Questions Here

And unfortunately too light for LF, I believe, but I will check the standard. I think they have to by four pounds though if I'm remembering correctly.

Thanks!

I don't care if these ladies aren't completely SQ, they're pets anyway......

I found a LF sultan SOP, but I can't figure it out..... Will someone please tell ignorant me what a "scale of points" is?

I could be wrong but I believe the scale of points if you have a set number of points and they take points off for any imperfections

Okay. Rated them by the SOP Pyxis kindly provided.

Hazel
Weight too low---2.2 instead of 3.5
Nostrils too low---does not raise much above curve of beak.
4&5th toes fused

Other than that (and there was a long list of stuff!) she's good. Correct shank color, leg angle, crest size, etc.... I think she's the best of the two.

Zoey
Too small---2.2 instead of 3.5
Small muffs---earlobes slightly visible
Smaller, upright crest
Cow hocked
Missing nail
White shanks

She has a nice 5th toe, not fused at all.

They both had nice vulture hocks & shank feathering, very thick. Nice beaks on both, teeny tiny wattles, red-bay eyes, etc.

Lol
U gonna show them?

Nope. If I could even find a show, I'd bet they'd be the only sultans there.

I'm just a backyard bird raiser with an interest in preserving bloodlines and breeding... I don't have the structures nor money for wading in any deeper into the lake of chicken raising.

Someday though, hopefully soon, might change.
