Calling cross stitchers!!!

My daughter is going to have a baby and her nursery is jungle theme...... I have a couple of small monkey patterns but want a variety to maybe make into a quilt. Now that the shock is wearing off (First grandbaby) I need to get busy......

I don't have any kid-themed projects, but I'll look in my books to see if there might be a miscellaneous monkey or two. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

I have some very old Vanessa Ann collections that I will look through. Think some of those old hardbacked collections have some jungle and animal themes.

Thinking of some smaller projects, that way I can sew them onto a quilt or pillow, wall hanging, that way I can get the colors of the room and the animals really don't matter...

now that is a good question, I am thinking more cartoony since it is for a nursery.

Lesliet, I went through all the books and magazines I have on cross stitch last night and found not one single monkey. I'm sorry...

I have this sock monkey pattern.... you can take any of the monkeys off of it

And I have these ABC animals

they're around 20 to 30 stitches high each.

Darn, that's all I can find.... however, if you have some images you'd like to use, I could help make them into designs... as long as it's after the first of the year.
