Thanks for the offer but I'll pass for now. I have no chickens to eat them. Plus all the barn shavings won't dry out and some pretty scary bugs are growing in it. Smelly too.

You can use the chicken feed...Yours will come on chicken feed and oats..

Okay, that's good. I fed all my oatmeal to the chickens when I ran out of feed one day, and haven't bought any since!

I wonder if you could use whole-grain rice? Would that work, or would it be too dry?

Good idea! I bet if you put the rice in a blender to break/soften it up for them to eat..it would work good!

Good, I have plenty of rice! WIC here in KY now has whole grain rice, whole grain bread, and wheat tortillas on it. I can't find the tortillas, the bread is too dry, and we can only eat so much rice! This would give me something else to do with it
