the swap idea,,,
we or i am trying to get everyone to join a local group so we can follow where these things are held, if we all joined the same group and got the group as a whole to hold a swap a month or so i think that would be great,,,,but i am not having luck finding a group in maine...i found the newengland bantam club,,,are any of you a member of this group? we need someone to organize,,,
where is everyone located
what groups that are already in place

Quite honestly, at this point I'd be willing to meet at Walmart in the Spring. I know Mario2girls goes to swaps in NH, but she says they require your birds to be NPIP or you at least have to be holding an NPIP card. I don't have a NPIP flock, so I can't technically sell my birds there.

the state came to test birds for free this year,,have already done it,,i will say this
i have never been asked for my card,,,ever,,,
the thing is the groups want you to join them, before you can sell at them,,,,
i am going to email newengland bantam group and see what things they do, and if they are interested if getting enough people to join same group if we cant get some swaps set up, somewhere central,,
the swaps i go to monthly are actually in mass.

Mass has the same requirement to import any poultry.

hi doug,
the swap is held in tewksbury mass and it is held the first sunday of every month except,,,,july and august i believe. i am on the seacoast of nh .
