I think i will probably find them next weekend if i dont find someone online that would like to sell a few to a good home. The poultry guy i know is going to a NY show next sunday, i think he will find something for me. I would love to go myself but i can get lost in my own backyard

OK these darn chickens are laying up the wazoo anyone interested in some jap eggs?

Regarding New England possible swaps, I went through all the "Where are You" threads and counted the New England state BYC-ers. Here are the results -

Massachusetts 16
Maine 13
Connecticut 21
New Hampshire 8

Of course, that's not counting all the lurkers who haven't joined our our happy forum yet.

So it seems that if a swap can be arranged for sometime next year, maybe it should be held in mid or eastern Connecticut.

Any more thoughts?

I thimk it should be in nothern MA seems to be in the middle I think

and lets do it now LOL

Hey, siz8003, you're right. I had a DUH, Blond and Senior Moment all at the same time. Yes, central or eastern Mass seems to be more central to our bunch. Thanks for noticing before I could get in here and correct it ! (smile)

Maybe we can do a combo Swap / Chickenstock? Because I don't have anything to swap or buy, but I'd love to talk to chicken people and see what they have and see their pictures.

Chicken People in Eastern or Northern Massachusetts: Does anyone have a yard big enough for a bunch of people to come and talk and/or trade?

If we can find some one right off from 95 that would be the best for me and probably a lot of people. My vote goes for Mass/NH border...I can get to Seabrook in an 1 1/2...and that's right on the NH/Mass border, I am willing to drive a couple hours.
