Cayuga babies are really sweet. They are soooo mellow compared to the calls.

I touched the babies and still have all my fingers!
They didn't mind at all. Jeezus they are sweet broody ducks.

Well.. today is a different story.
I reached in there to grab a feed dish I'd put on there for the mamas and whammo. Pip went all ninja dux on me. She gave me everything she had. Grabbed my knuckle and proceeded to climb my arm Wing slappin and a scratchin.

There was a baby near that dish though. But they were so mellow last night I didn't think a thing of reaching in there.
Maybe cause it was dark then.
