Hi! I'm a tad nervous about something I'm seeing develop.
Today I noticed a white callus-type thing show up on my duck's left foot (picture included). The spot is only a tad raised (the picture makes it look more pronounced than it is) and the area definitely feels more 'rough' compared to the other foot. The temperature of both feet don't feel any different, and he has little to no trouble walking+standing with it. While nothing feels or looks off with him, I'm just worried this'll snowball if I brush it off.
Is this normal? If not, what are some things I can do to get it down/what could it be? I was planning on giving him an epsom salt soak tonight to see if that helps.
(Note: He is not usually on concrete or any hot surfaces and he had no prior cuts or splinters. I have looked into bumblefoot and him having it doesn't quite make sense, but I'm open to absolutely anything. If you'd like more/better pics, please let me know).
