I special ordered 4 banty chicks after I lost my Little Girl. Little Girl was an oegb and was the best girl. That's her in my profile pic showing off her cute legs So, Piglet arrived April 25 at 2 days old. I named them Peanut, Piglet, Skunker and Penny. I think it's fun to name the chicks after other animals. I lost another girl this year too. Her name was Kitty, cuz she was a scaredy (is that even a word?) Cat. Lol

Awwwww, those names are so cute! Naming chicks after other plants and animals are always adorable! Peanut is so cute! I love that name!

So sorry for your loses. It is always sad no matter how many times it happens, you never can just ‘get used to it.’
