Campines or Fauomis, anybody raising them?

My Campine bantams are about the same size as Hamburg bantams. I have not planned to show them so have never tested their weight to see if they conform to Std of Perfection. They do seem to be consistent layers of large eggs (relative to their size).

There is a BYCer in Georgia that raises fauomis. One of her hens disappeared, and when she finally came back she had a mess of chicks with her. Was pretty unexpected!

They actually lay a lot better in the winter than the hatchery brown leghorns I had. I sold all of the leghorns because they were way too flighty for me.

Thank you for this information! I had just recently created a thread asking for a comparison of Leghorns and Campines. I will stick with my beloved Campines then!

A friend of mine raises Campines for 4H and i love them! so sweet and what pretty coloring!

I got EF this year. I love them. They are one of my favorite breeds I have. They are very interesting especially how the little cockerals started trying to crow before I even got them out of the brooder. They are jusy amazing birds. I highly reccomend them.
