I have a hen that is broody that won’t break, I have been caging her but she has turned the cage into her broody spot. I have dipped her and cool water but nothing. I am also dealing with Bumblefoot in two other hens and need the cage for them at night, I’m not sure what else to do

Honestly, what helped me was having to shut the coop down for a few days. I had a hen that I couldn't break and so when I had to shut the coop down for an issue she broke her broodiness.

How long have you had her in the breaker and has she ever gone broody before (and if so, how long did it take to break her previously)?

Is it hot where you're located? Not sure where your breaker is but you might need to move her somewhere cooler during the day so her belly cools down more noticeably.

If its summer dunk the chickens lower body in water to cool their belly and place them in a wire cage hung from the ceiling.AS long as they have food and water and a wide board to sit on they'll be fine for a day or 2 there .No chicken in its right mind will stay broody thru that

If you have Silkies you may have a harder time breaking them

If you're trying everything...

If your run is predator proof (and nothing can reach her through the fence), and your weather is good... You could let her roost there for a night.

I've only tried this once, but it happened to work for the bird I had to try it with...
