Hi all! Thanks for all your messages. Just wanted to give an update to my little flock of 7. Papa duck is Very protective. He has bit me a few times when I’ve tried to socialize with the little ones. They are eating mealworms out of my hand now, so when I come in to check on them they are eager instead of scared. My only issue is that he is picking on one in particular, holding him down and pulling out fuzz on his back. So I am trying to figure out a way that they can still be together but he can’t actually bite the one. Any suggestions would be appreciated! So far everything I’ve tried just stresses everyone out. Here is a pic from today, I let them outside for the first time for amount 10 minutes while I cleaned the brooder and mopped the floor. It was really cute to watch them follow him around!
