Can’t see veins in eggs

hi all I have eggs in a home made incubator on day 9 I can clearly see the embryo but I can’t see veins along the egg could the just be more inwards and not visible ? There are 40 eggs in the incubator and the six I candled all looked similar . Black embryo around the right size for day 9 but barely to no veins I am worried but will let them run there course I don’t take eggs out anymore after opening and egg I thought was unfertile and finding a healthy embryo . Yes I am using the right type of flashlight to candle I have another batch of eggs in a different incubator on day 16 and I can clearly see them moving and veins with this flashlight second pic shows lack of veins

They are all brown eggs so are the ones in the other incubator

I would give them time. With the dark eggs, it's harder to look in and see the baby. With white eggs, you can see everything clearly, but unfortunately isn't the case here. Just give them another couple of days, monitor temp and humidity, and watch for movement if possible when you candle.

I believe I do see some veins. Try getting a brighter flashlight: I like to have at least five-hundred watts for brown eggs. I don't think yours is more than three-hundred, from the picture.

The flash light is very bright the picture is deceiving and I used the same flashlight to candle eggs from a different incubator from day 6 and on and could see veins clearly in those eggs I’m worried about these guys I don’t see movement in the embryo or veins aroundbut the embryos seem to be getting bigger ?

In that case, the only advice I can offer is to keep an eye on them. Have you got a backup hydrometer/thermometer with which to compare your readings?

I do but I think it’s inaccurate I need to get a more expensive thermometer hygrometer will probably do that today or tomorrow
