Can 2 button males live together?

Our baby buttons are now old enough I need to separate from the parents. I am left with 2 males and a female. I planned to put them all in together since I have an odd number. Are they likely to fight?

Very likely, especially if there's a female present.

The two males could probably live together peacefully as long as there are no females, though.

2 males with 1 female will breed the female to death. 1 male and 1 female is still a ratio that I would not do. The males are just toooooo randy.

Any suggestions on how to split them up? or what to do with the extra guy?

sell him or just cage them apart. depends on what you want to do with him. I would sell.
