Can a 15 week old rooster fertilize eggs?

I have a 15 week old wyandotte cockerel who started crowing a month or so ago, and over the past few days Ive noticed him mating with one of our young (23 week old) hens. Could her eggs be fertile from this? The mating iis very “brief” but I think that is normal? (Im somewhat new to chickens). TIA!

That is right at the age when roosters reach sexual maturity. It is possible. I am sure with his organs just starting to work. He will probably be having some misfires and shooting some duds.
