Hello, this is my first time raising baby chicks so all help is appreciated! I have three baby chicks, 2 California White and one Calico Princess. I believe they are about a week old but I’m not really sure, anyway I moved them up to a larger brooder because their heat plate would not fit in any boxes they are indoors. I was wondering if the setup is ok, or if a brooder can be too big? Thank you!

Maybe move the food and water a little closer, but they will grow quickly into it and will need the room!
Edit:if they are eating and drinking leave the food and water where it is though.

Brooder isn't too big unless it's so large that chicks can't find their way back to the heat source - in this case, I don't see an issue.

Agreed that they'll be popping out of there in a matter of days, so I hope you have some sort of surrounding walls and lid ready to go.
