Hi,

I'd like to get some Moscovy ducklings, but they are either pricey, far away, or white; I'd like colored ducks. Anyway, has anyone ever slipped duck eggs under a broody hen? If so, and they did hatch, could a hen raise the ducklings? I can order the fertile Muscovy eggs, but have read that they are extremely hard to successfully hatch in an incubator.

Thanks!

Yes you can hatch ducks under a chicken. I have hatched plenty of mallards each year under a hen and the hen will raise the ducklings if you let her.
