Can a Broody Hen Hatch Ducklings?

Unless you have plans for the ducklings, DO NOT incubate them. Even if you think that you can sell them, you may not, so you need to have a back up plan in case you have 12 ducklings that nobody wants. This plan would come down to culling them or putting them in the freezer for food. Sorry, just trying to be realistic.

But im not sure my mom would like 12 ducks running around in the backyard.

You can just incubate one or two eggs. If your chicken will only take ten eggs, give her some fake ones. But ask your Mom first!!

thanks, we are incubating 3 eggs under 1 bantam hen.We candled them and they are on day 2, 3 and 4. Thank you everyone for all of your help. I may ask a few more questions later.
