Can a chick be too friendly?

We have been working with our chickens...with little ones in the family we don`t want them jumping all over us. I have a stump in the run where we can sit and where it is okay for them to hop up and visit with us. They will follow us around and will come for a scratch or visit other places in the yard/coop but this is the only place we let them hop up on our laps or arms. We have a friendly group and when you have one come for a visit you have all 13! Chickies are pretty smart in the routine department.
