Can a chicken lay her egg after the egg song?

This morning all of my chickens started to sing. All five would do a low toned bawk bawk bawk bawk bawk...and every once in awhile one would go bKCAW!!!! A different tone each time. All five of them. It was really loud, and did sound kind of like the egg song. We do have a 30 week old leghorn who has not layed her first egg yet. I searched for it, and couldn't find anything. Could she be going to lay her egg today? If not, what was this about?

I have a chicken who does her egg song before she lays. Was really confusing for a newbie like me since I'd race out to the coop expecting an egg and she'd look at me like "hah! Made ya look!"

Some of our hens also sing before they lay, then do a "real" egg song afterwards. The two sound slightly different.

We also have a BO who will join in with any other hen who is singing about an egg. Sometimes she will get the entire flock singing!

My girls are fickle!! Some sing before some after and some not at all! I just have to keep checking. Some days they sing and there is nothing! Somedays they are very noisy and when there is outside noise like other birds, gardeners, or trash trucks they get silent!!
