Can a chicken 'lose her voice'

Update: Dusty is, once again, back to normal and once again, living proof that a chicken can lose her voice.

Back again with a hoarse Dusty!

The day before yesterday, nearly 12 months to the day since she was last hoarse, Dusty was having yet another whinge session about something or other and she kept this up for the whole day. Yesterday, she was not whinging but whenever she tried to talk to me she was hoarse!

The good news, back to normal today!
