Can a chicken not squat?

Can some chickens just not squat? My white leghorns is 30 weeks and has not laid or squatted. Does it mean I still have a long time to wait, or is it just because it's almost impossible to catch her? Since she's so freaked out about everything, and squatting is an act of submitting, do you think she could never do so? I'm getting very impatient with her.

Well, it's the dead of winter right now. Try to be patient, she'll lay when she's ready. It may not be until the weather gets warmer.

True, although the weather already is warmer here. it's 60 degrees outside right now

Lots of pullets never squat. The reason why some don't come into lay in winter is more a light issue. Give her time. February is coming with it's increased light. If she isn't laying by March..................... well......

Yeah, give her time, she'll be alright. I have two 8 mo. old pullets that just started laying within the last couple of weeks. They're all different when it comes to laying times
