I am have a 8x8 coop built next weekend. I have 9 pullets now and plan to get about 6 more. With all that extra room will it be too cold for them in the winters???

Never! Where are you located? Cold to some people is very different than cold to others...

hi
i have had not that much experience with chickens but i made mine out of my little sister cubby. it is about 10x10 metres and i have 4 chickens and it is nice and warm in there at night so i dont think it should be to big.

According to the 4sq. ft. per bird recommendation, an 8X8 can house up to 18, so your 15 will use quite a bit of your available space anyway. They will be just fine.

I built my first coop last may. Then I replaced it with a bigger coop in September just to have the extra room for my 7 RIR. Went from a 4x8 to a 8x10. One thing you can never have is too big of a coop.
You can see it on my members page.
