Can a drake not have a drake feather?

My (what I think is a male) is HUGE compared to the others. His legs are also shorter, and a fatter neck.

My Runner drake had a drake feather before he molted this year and so far has never gotten it back.

If your fatty isn't quacking loud I'd say you have a drake you did say they are 6-7 months old?

Yes. I got the first two (females) in April. I loved them so much I got two more (females) in May! Cayuga is the breed. Very pretty. Especially fatty fat fatty!
