Can a duckling lose imprinting?

I just got a little cayuga duckling on the first (she hatched on the 30th) and unexpectedly have to take a trip in a day for a little over 24 hours. She is imprinted on me at the moment but I am worried that that long break will cause her to forget about me and not be imprinted when I come back. So far I have only left her alone for a couple hours. Is this a crazy thing to worry about? And on a side note don't worry I'll be getting another duckling in a month or so so she won't be lonely, the hatchery just didn't have both breeds I wanted available at the same time unfortunately. Thanks!

They imprint on specific person and humans. My highly imprinted drake whom I incubated and raised got imprinted and would only follow me as a small duckling. It is interesting how they can recognize a person. He was afraid of most people and ran away, except my fayher, he soon behaved similar with him as if I was around.
As he grew up, he remained imprinted and would come running when he saw me, and rarely to other people.
He eventually started eating from other people's hands, which he did not at first, he was especially cautious around children. It took some time, but he soon became an attraction for kids that could feed him.

I left for more than 14 days and he remained imprinted and knew me just the same when I arrived. If I called him, he would come running.

How I miss him!
