I agree that most people at the chain feed stores don't know much or the difference between Americana and Ameraucana. I specifically asked a manager, and she didn't know the difference. I bought one of each knowing the difference, but it seems like Orchalen's has false advertising in their signage. I love her anyway and just hope she's not a cockrel, which I can't have in the city. Some of my hens that are already laying have some suspicious bullseyes in the yolk, so I'm not sure yet if I somehow have a roo.My feed store sells Easter Eggers. I'm so happy about that! She is beautiful in my eyes and such a sweetie! Now to wait for the surprise of her egg color!Pullet.
