Can a female duck sound like a male?

I know this is a crazy question but I have an indian runner male and two pekin ducks that are the same age. One of the pekin ducks just got his drake feather, now my runner and pekin drake fight all the time. But they act as if they are fighting over my other pekin, which quacks like a male but has not got a drake feather? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have been told by the sound of the quack that all three are males.

I have a black Swedish duck who is 2yo and lays eggs. She sounds just like a male.
